GetButtonPosition Method, SftTreeHeader Object

Returns the coordinates of the header dropdown/filter button area.

Syntax

VB.NETBoolean = object.GetButtonPosition(ByRef Left As Single, ByRef Top As Single, ByRef Width As Single, ByRef Height As Single) As Boolean
VBBoolean = object.GetButtonPosition(Left As Single, Top As Single, Width As Single, Height As Single) As Boolean
C#.NETbool Boolean = object.GetButtonPosition(out float Left, out float Top, out float Width, out float Height);
VC++VARIANT_BOOL Boolean = object->GetButtonPosition(float* Left, float* Top, float* Width, float* Height);
CHRESULT object->raw_GetButtonPosition(float* Left, float* Top, float* Width, float* Height, VARIANT_BOOL* Boolean);

object

A SftTreeHeader object.

Left

Returns the horizontal position of the header dropdown/filter button relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Top

Returns the vertical position of the header dropdown/filter button relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Width

Returns the width of the header dropdown/filter button. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Height

Returns the height of the header dropdown/filter button. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Comments

The GetButtonPosition method returns the coordinates of the header dropdown/filter button area. If no header dropdown/filter button is shown, this method returns Width/Height 0.

The Header.GetButtonPosition and Header.GetButtonPositionPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems.

To retrieve the coordinates of all the entire column header, use Header.GetPosition instead.
