Comments

The BackColor property defines the background color of cells in this column.

The BackColor property defines the background color of cells in this column for items that are not selected. Cells can override the background color using the Cell.BackColor property. If a selected item uses a selection style (Items.SelectStyle property) that uses the Column.SelectBackColor property for only portions of the item, the BackColor property is used for the remainder of the item.

The BackColor property can be used to define the default background color of cells in this column, combined with BackColorEnd creating a gradient fill.
