GetTextPosition Method, SftTreeCell Object

Returns the coordinates of the cell text.

Syntax

A SftTreeCell object.

Left

Returns the horizontal position relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Top

Returns the vertical position relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Width

Returns the width of the cell text. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Height

Returns the height of the cell text. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Boolean

BooleanDescription
TrueThe cell is displayed and visible.
FalseThe cell is not visible. The returned coordinates are not valid.

Comments

The GetTextPosition method returns the coordinates of the cell text.

The GetTextPosition and Cell.GetTextPositionPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems.

The Cell.GetPosition method is used to return the overall dimensions of the cell. The Cell.GetImagePosition method returns the dimensions of the cell graphic.
