GetCellTextPos Method, SftTree Object

Returns the coordinates of a cell's text component.

Deprecated - Provided for compatibility with earlier versions only - Use Cell.GetTextPosition instead

Syntax

VB.NETBoolean = object.GetCellTextPos(ByVal ItemIndex As Integer, ByVal ColIndex As Short, ByRef Left As Single, ByRef Top As Single, ByRef Width As Single, ByRef Height As Single) As Boolean
VBBoolean = object.GetCellTextPos(ByVal ItemIndex As Long, ByVal ColIndex As Integer, Left As Single, Top As Single, Width As Single, Height As Single) As Boolean
C#.NETbool Boolean = object.GetCellTextPos(int ItemIndex, short ColIndex, out float Left, out float Top, out float Width, out float Height);
VC++VARIANT_BOOL Boolean = object->GetCellTextPos(long ItemIndex, short ColIndex, float* Left, float* Top, float* Width, float* Height);
CHRESULT object->raw_GetCellTextPos(long ItemIndex, short ColIndex, float* Left, float* Top, float* Width, float* Height, VARIANT_BOOL* Boolean);

object

A SftTree object.

ItemIndex

The zero-based index of the item. The combination of ItemIndex and ColIndex describes an individual cell.

ColIndex

The zero-based column number. The combination of ItemIndex and ColIndex describes an individual cell.

Left

Returns the horizontal position relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Top

Returns the vertical position relative to the top, left corner of the tree control. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Width

Returns the width of the cell text. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Height

Returns the height of the cell text. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Boolean

BooleanDescription
TrueThe cell specified by ItemIndex and ColIndex is displayed and visible.
FalseThe cell specified by ItemIndex and ColIndex is not visible. The returned coordinates are not valid.

Comments

Deprecated - Provided for compatibility with earlier versions only - Use Cell.GetTextPosition instead

The GetCellTextPos method returns the coordinates of a cell's text component.

The GetCellTextPos and GetCellTextPosPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems.

The Cell.GetPosition method is used to return the overall dimensions of the cell. The Cell.GetImagePosition method returns the dimensions of the cell graphic.
