Release history

Version 8.01

• SftTree.h: the cell and column attribute comments name the right gradient color fields, SFTTREE_WRAP is documented as requiring SFTTREE_MULTILINE, and the colorOddFg comment says odd rows.
• Wizard: the generated code sizes the GetWindowText buffer in characters, and the dark mode checks are ANSI-safe.
• MFC CellEditing sample: when a combo box entry fails validation, focus returns to the combo box instead of the edit control.
• The sample sources size text buffers in characters, test dark mode in an ANSI-safe way, and point to the online guide and API reference.
• Header comments were corrected where they disagreed with the documentation.
• The AGENTS.md file in the installation folder links to the online AI/LLM documentation (guide, API reference and samples) instead of carrying a copy that goes stale between releases.
• The License Manager was updated.
