Comments

The MouseEnterControl event occurs when the mouse cursor is entering the control.

Many containers such as .NET provide their own events which signal that the mouse cursor is entering or leaving the control. For containers where such a facility is not available, the MouseEnterControl and MouseLeaveControl events can be used instead. It is preferable to use events or mechanisms offered by the container rather than the MouseEnterControl and MouseLeaveControl events.

Updating control properties or changing the input focus to another control while handling this event is not supported.

Once the mouse cursor leaves the control, the MouseLeaveControl event occurs.
