Class: CellBaseClass
Namespace: Softelvdm.Controls
Assembly: Softelvdm.SftTreeNET

Syntax

public CellBaseClass MainCell { get; }
Public ReadOnly Property MainCell As CellBaseClass

Value

The main cell that merges into the current cell or null/Nothing if the current cell isn't part of a merged cell.

Comments

Returns the main cell, if the current cell is part of the main cell due to cell merging.

Any subordinate cell is owned by a main cell. The main cell occupies the space of all its subordinate cells.

The MainCell property can be used to retrieve any subordinate cell's owning main cell.

If a cell is not a subordinate cell, MainCell returns null/Nothing. The MainCell property returns null/Nothing when used with a main cell.

The CellBaseClass.GetMainCell method can also be used to retrieve any subordinate cell's owning main cell. The MainCell property is identical to the CellBaseClass.GetMainCell method, except that CellBaseClass.GetMainCell also returns the relative position of the main cell (offset argument).
