Defines whether cells and the row header in this item are ignored for optimal column width calculation.
Class: ItemClass
Namespace: Softelvdm.SftTreeNET
Assembly: Softelvdm.SftTreeNET
public bool WidthIgnore { get; set; }
Public Property WidthIgnore As Boolean
True if cells and the row header in this item are ignored for optimal column width calculation, otherwise False.
The default value is False.
Defines whether cells and the row header in this item are ignored for optimal column width calculation.
The ColumnsClass.MakeOptimal, ColumnClass.MakeOptimal and ColumnClass.GetOptimalWidth methods are used to calculate the optimal width of columns.
When an item's ItemClass.WidthIgnore property is set to True, its cells and the row header are not considered to calculate a column's optimal width. This is helpful if most cells have average sized content, but a few have a huge amount of text (for example). The few cells that have large contents can be marked (WidthIgnore), so they are sized based on the other, smaller cells. While this may result in these cells being clipped, this may be preferable to an excessive column width. The CellClass.WidthIgnore and RowHeaderClass.WidthIgnore properties works similarly, but apply to one cell or row header only.
