SftBoxDropDown.GetPositionV Method

Returns the drop down portion's position and dimensions.

A SftBoxDropDown object.

Left

Returns the location of the left edge of the drop down portion. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Top

Returns the location of the top edge of the drop down portion. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Width

Returns the width of the drop down portion. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Height

Returns the height of the drop down portion. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Comments

The GetPositionV method returns the drop down portion's position and dimensions.

The DropDown.GetPosition and DropDown.GetPositionPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems. The GetPositionV method is used with Internet Explorer/VBScript.

If the combo box control doesn't have a drop down portion, the returned values are 0.
