Show
Defines the status of the drop down portion.
Show | Description |
---|---|
True | The drop down portion is about to be displayed. |
False | The drop down portion is about to be hidden. |
The Showing event occurs when the drop down portion is rolling up/down.
The application can prevent the drop down portion from being shown by using the CancelMode method. If a message box is displayed by the application to notify the user of an error, keep in mind that the combo box drop down portion will be hidden, due to the fact that the control loses the input focus. You can display the drop down portion on return from the message box using the DropDown.Dropped property.
The Showing event is an informational event. The combo box should not be updated in any way while handling this event.
