The RowHeader.GetPosition and RowHeader.GetPositionPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems. The GetPositionV method is used with Internet Explorer/VBScript.

Item.GetPosition can be used to retrieve the position of an item. Cell.GetPosition is used to retrieve the position of individual cells.
