SftBoxDropDown.SuppressReset Method

Restores hiding the drop down portion when adding/inserting items.

Comments

The SuppressReset method restores hiding the drop down portion when adding/inserting items.

The drop down portion is automatically hidden when the combo box contents are changed using the methods Items.Add, Items.Clear, Items.Collapse, Item.Collapse, Items.Copy, Items.CopyAfter, Item.DeleteDependents, Items.Expand, Item.Expand, Items.Insert, Items.InsertAfter, Items.Move, Items.MoveAfter, Items.Remove.

To keep the drop down portion visible, the DropDown.SuppressOn method can be called before updating the control. Once updating is complete, the DropDown.SuppressOff method is called to restore the default behavior. Calls to DropDown.SuppressOn are cumulative and must be matched by an equal number of calls to DropDown.SuppressOff. The last call to DropDown.SuppressOff restores the default behavior.

Calling the SuppressReset method restores the default behavior immediately.

This method has no effect on a simple combo box.
