SftBox/OCX 5.0 - Combo Box Control

Basic Styles

SftBox/OCX offers three basic combo box styles, identical to the standard Windows combo box, defined using the Style property. Each style can be enhanced using multiple columns, column headers, colors, pictures and all other SftBox/OCX features.

Simple

A simple combo box is a combo box which has an edit control portion displaying the current selection and a drop down portion which is always shown. The edit control displays the cell contents of the first displayed column. Attributes of the edit control portion can be defined using the SftBoxEdit object.

Drop Down

A drop down combo box is a combo box which has an edit control portion displaying the current selection and a drop down portion which may be shown or hidden based on the user's preference. The edit control displays the cell contents of the first displayed column. Attributes of the edit control portion can be defined using the SftBoxEdit object. Attributes of the drop down portion can be defined using the SftBoxDropDown object.

Drop Down List

A drop down list combo box is a combo box which has a static portion displaying the current selection and a drop down portion which may be shown or hidden based on the user's preference. The static portion displays several columns of data if possible. Attributes of the drop down portion can be defined using the SftBoxDropDown object.
