The DropDown.GetButtonPosition and DropDown.GetButtonPositionPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems. The GetButtonPositionV method is used with Internet Explorer/VBScript.
If the combo box control doesn't have a drop down button, the returned values are 0. The drop down button position is not available if DropDown.ButtonStyle is set to constSftBoxDDStyleHover or constSftBoxDDStyleHoverNoThemes.
