SftDirectory.HitTest Method

Determines the file/folder at the given cursor coordinates.

Syntax

object

A SftDirectory object.

xPos

The x coordinate to be tested. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

yPos

The y coordinate to be tested. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

refFolderObj

Returns the SftDirectoryFolder object located at the specified coordinates. If no folder is located at the coordinates, Nothing (NULL) is returned.

Comments

The HitTest method determines the file/folder at the given cursor coordinates.

The HitTestPix method can be used to determine the folder using coordinates expressed in pixels.
