SftDirectory.Renaming Event

A file/folder is being renamed.

A SftDirectory object.

Folder

Describes the file/folder being renamed.

Allow

On return, determines the action to be taken.

Allow	Description
True	The file/folder can be renamed.
False	The file/folder cannot be renamed.

Comments

The Renaming event occurs when a file/folder is being renamed.

Depending on the RenameStyle property, a file/folder can be renamed by using the context menu (see ShowContextMenu property) or by clicking on the file/folder name to edit its name in-place. In either case, if the user initiates renaming a file, before the edit control is displayed for editing, the Renaming event occurs. Once the file/folder has been renamed successfully, the Renamed event occurs.
