VB.NETobject.Collapse(ByVal Delete As Boolean)
VBobject.Collapse(ByVal Delete As Boolean)
C#.NETvoid object.Collapse(bool Delete);
VC++HRESULT object->Collapse(VARIANT_BOOL Delete);
CHRESULT object->raw_Collapse(VARIANT_BOOL Delete);

object

A SftDirectoryFolder object.

Delete

Defines how child folders are handled, temporarily overriding the current DeleteOnCollapse property settings.

DeleteDescription
TrueThe child files/folders are removed from the control's contents.
FalseThe child files/folders are not removed from the control's contents, instead they are simply hidden.

Comments

The Collapse method collapses the folder (hides child folders).

The Collapse method has no effect in a DetailList-style control (see ControlStyle property).

Depending on the settings of the DeleteOnCollapse settings, the file/folder entries shown are deleted and need to be retrieved again, if the parent folders are expanded.

The FolderCollapsed event occurs when a folder is collapsed.
