NextControl Method, SftMask Object

Advances the input focus to the next control.

Comments

The NextControl method advances the input focus to the next control.

The NextControl and PrevControl methods can be used to simulate the Tab (or Shift+Tab) key under program control. NextControl will advance the input focus to the next control on the current form.

NextControl is mainly intended for use with Visual Basic. Other development environments may use the Windows API GetNextDlgTabItem instead. Depending on your development environment, this method may not function correctly. This is the result of the development tool not supporting the necessary interfaces. Some development environments offer similar functionality using other methods (such as GetNextDlgTabItem), which are documented in the development tool's documentation.
