Visualizes the insert location at the given character position, used by drop targets during drag & drop.

Parameters

hwndCtl

The window handle of the masked edit control.

Pos

The zero-based character position to visualize, or -1 to remove the drop position display.

Comments

A drop target typically combines GetCharIndex, GetInsertPosition and ShowDropPosition to give visual feedback while dragging over the control. See Drag & Drop.
