ToolTips

ToolTips are small windows describing a tab's purpose. ToolTips are displayed if the mouse cursor stays above a tab for a certain period of time. ToolTip windows are automatically removed if the mouse cursor is moved away from the tab or if the user presses a key on the keyboard.

ToolTips are defined at design-time or by using the Tab.ToolTip property.

The scroll buttons, Close button, Minimize button and Restore button each offers a ToolTip which can be defined using the Scrolling.ToolTipLeftButton, Scrolling.ToolTipRightButton, Scrolling.ToolTipCloseButton, Scrolling.ToolTipMinimizeButton and Scrolling.ToolTipRestoreButton properties.

ToolTip text consists of one single line or multiple lines of text.
