Inserts a new tab.
VB | TabIndex = object.Insert(ByVal Text As String, ByVal InsertIndex As Integer) As Integer |
object
Text
The tab text to be used for the new tab.
InsertIndex
The zero-based tab index of an existing tab in front of which the new tab is to be inserted. If -1 is used, the new tab is added at the end.
TabIndex
Returns the zero-based index of the newly inserted tab.
The Insert method inserts a new tab.
New tabs are inserted at the location defined by InsertIndex. All other tabs (including the tab at location InsertIndex) are shifted by one position. If many tabs have to be added, the BulkUpdate property can be used to indicate a mass-update, which is significantly faster.
Tabs can be added at the end using the Tabs.Add method. Tabs can be deleted using the Delete or Clear methods.
A maximum of 128 tabs can be added to a tab control.
Private Sub Form_Load() Dim TabIndex As Integer With SftTabs1 .BulkUpdate = True .Tabs.Clear TabIndex = .Tabs.Add("First Tab") TabIndex = .Tabs.Add("Second Tab") TabIndex = .Tabs.Insert("The Very First Tab", 0) .BulkUpdate = False End With End Sub
