Keyboard & Mouse Interface

Keyboard Interface

Keyboard input is only processed when the options control has the input focus.

arrow keys PgUp, PgDn Home, EndAn options control responds to these keys to change the selected entry (see CurrentEntry).
alphanumeric character(s)Typing alphanumeric character(s) will position the selection on the next entry that starts with the character(s) typed.
F1The HelpRequested event occurs.
Shift-F10The ContextMenu event occurs.

Mouse Interface

Left Mouse Button
Single ClickThe current entry changes (the SelectionChange event occurs) if the left mouse button is pressed on an entry. A radio button entry is selected if the left mouse button is pressed on the radio button. A check box entry is toggled if the left mouse button is pressed on the check box. The EllipseAction event occurs if the left mouse button is pressed on the button of an Ellipse entry. The HeaderClicked event occurs if the left mouse button is pressed on the header.
Double ClickThe current item is expanded or collapsed if possible, meaning child items are made visible or hidden. A check box entry is toggled if the double-click occurs on the text portion.
Right Mouse Button
Single ClickThe ContextMenu event occurs when the right mouse button is released.

The HelpRequested event occurs when the user clicks on the question mark in the title bar (WhatsThisButton) and then on an entry in the SftOptions control.
