Active Tab

The active tab is the tab that is currently the selected tab (see GetCurrentTab), usually in the front row. The tab text also receives a focus rectangle when the tab control has the input focus.

It is possible to deactivate all tabs using SetCurrentTab, provided SetAllowAllInactive is called first.
