1. Shipping Version 8.01 The current release. Supports Visual Studio 2019 - 2026, Windows 10 and newer versions, including Server editions.

Version 8.01

• The footer resize mode was taken from the Headers setting; Footers.Resizable is now applied to the footers.
• The sample sources size text buffers in characters, test dark mode in an ANSI-safe way, and point to the online guide and API reference.
• Header comments were corrected where they disagreed with the documentation.
• The AGENTS.md file in the installation folder links to the online AI/LLM documentation (guide, API reference and samples) instead of carrying a copy that goes stale between releases.
• The License Manager was updated.
