Windows & Visual Studio

SftTabs/DLL 6.02 is required for Windows 8 support - version 6.05 is recommended. Older versions, such as SftTabs/DLL 6.01 or 5.0, will not work on Windows 8.

SftTabs/DLL 6.0 Updates

Version 6.05:

• Additional Windows 8 support (for product installation).
• New solutions files for various Visual Studio versions.

Version 6.04:

• When using static linking instead of the dlls, a linker error would occur.

Version 6.03:

• A memory leak could be observed when using a non-default background color for the control (SFTTABS_COLORS, bgColor) with certain control styles. Non-default background colors for individual tabs did not exhibit this problem.

Version 6.02:

• Windows 8 support.

Version 6.01:

• The static LIB files are incomplete, resulting in unresolved externals.
• Static linking in conjunction with SftTree/DLL 6.07 is now possible.

Version 6.00:

• This is the initial release.
