Returns the header area's position and dimensions.

Left

Returns the location of the left edge of the column header area, i.e. the first column header. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Top

Returns the location of the top edge of the column header area. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Width

Returns the width of the column header area. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Height

Returns the height of the column header area. The units used depend on the container (Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc.) and the coordinate system used.

Comments

The GetPositionDropDown method returns the header area's position and dimensions.

The Headers.GetPositionDropDown and Headers.GetPositionDropDownPix methods are synonyms, but may use different coordinate systems. The Headers.GetPositionDropDownV method is used with Internet Explorer/VBScript.

The header area information for the drop down portion is returned. To retrieve the header area information for the static portion or edit control portion, the Headers.GetPosition method can be used instead.

The Headers.GetPositionDropDown method returns the position of the combined column headers. The Header.GetPositionDropDown method returns the position of an individual column header.
