The ColumnSelectBackColor property defines the background color of selected items in the specified column ColIndex of items that are selected.

Cells can override the background color using the Cell.SelectBackColor property. If a selected item uses a selection style (Items.SelectStyle property) that uses the Column.SelectBackColor property for only portions of the item, the Column.BackColor property is used for the remainder of the item.
