Left
Returns the horizontal position of the desired Area, relative to the top, left corner of the control. The units used depend on the container used (e.g., Visual Basic uses TWIPS by default, Visual C++ uses pixels).
Top
Returns the vertical position of the desired Area, relative to the top, left corner of the control. The units used depend on the container used (e.g., Visual Basic uses TWIPS by default, Visual C++ uses pixels).
Width
Returns the width of the desired Area. The units used depend on the container used (e.g., Visual Basic uses TWIPS by default, Visual C++ uses pixels).
Height
Returns the height of the desired Area. The units used depend on the container used (e.g., Visual Basic uses TWIPS by default, Visual C++ uses pixels).
Comments
The GetPosition method returns the position and dimensions of an area.
The exact position and size for a given area (described by Area) is returned. If an area is not available, the Width and Height values are 0.
GetPositionPix can be used if pixel coordinates are desired.
GetPositionV is used for languages such as VBScript, which are limited by requiring Variant arguments and do not support strongly typed arguments for return values. For more information please see Using SftMask/OCX with Internet Explorer.
