Comments

The Width property defines the column's width.

The last displayed column always uses all remaining display space and ignores the Width property.

Due to the variable number of levels and the resulting hierarchical display, the width of the first column is always treated as a required, smallest width. The text portion of the first column will always be at least of the specified width, no matter what level the folder is on. This can result in the first column being much wider than the defined width.

The WidthPix property can be used to define the column's width using pixels.

The Column.MakeOptimal method can be used to determine and set the best width for a column.
