object

A SftBoxDropDown object.

WPercent

Defines the width of the drop down portion in percent of the control's width. It defines the width of the drop down portion as a percentage of the static portion or edit control portion. I.e., the value 120 (120%) would result in the drop down portion to have a width of 1.2 times the combo box client area width. If 0 is used, the drop down portion has the same width as the combo box client area.

Comments

The WidthPercent property defines the width of the drop down portion in percent of the control's width.

The width defined using WidthPercent property is considered a maximum value. The width of the drop down portion may be adjusted (made smaller) so the drop down portion doesn't extend beyond the edge of the screen.

The actual width of the drop down portion can be found using the DropDown.GetPosition method.

The DropDown.Width property can also be used to define the width. If the DropDown.WidthPercent property is set, the DropDown.Width property is set to 0.

The WidthPercent property must be set before the drop down portion becomes visible.

This property cannot be used with a simple combo box.
